EVZ Family Day

This year's EVZ Family Day took place on November 2, 2025. Over 400 runners from the junior teams, the men's and women's teams, as well as family, friends, and employees ran laps at the Skateathon to raise money for the EVZ junior teams.

The EVZ youth development actively plays a role in society, providing young individuals with the opportunity to spend their leisure time meaningfully while introducing them to the sport of ice hockey. As a major youth organization in Swiss ice hockey, we passionately and diligently mentor and train young ice hockey players in grassroots, performance, and elite sports.

In addition to contributions from sponsors, patrons, and members, the Skateathon serves as a crucial source of income for the EVZ youth, helping achieve our set goals.

During the Skateathon, all our youth teams, along with players from the Men's and Women's teams, staff, and fans of EVZ, as well as parents, friends, and relatives, come together to skate laps for ten minutes each. The objective is to complete as many laps as possible, typically around 40 laps per participant.
